North Brewing Company is all about great beer and an alternative approach to business. We are starting small with a big dream of building out a zero emissions brewery.
A zero emissions brewery will require a large amount of capital and expertise. It is a project that is crazy for a small start up with a tiny budget to consider. However, we believe that if we start small and reinvest profits with the zero emissions goal in mind we can work towards making it a reality. This is an experiment in what small business can achieve.
To achieve this broader goal we are starting as a tiny micro brewery in the North End of Halifax and focusing on Belgian inspired beers. North Brewing’s philosophy is to respect tradition while being inventive and not too restrained by strict adherence to style guidelines. We aim to make unique beers not reproductions.
