I am a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design with a Major in Ceramics. Since finishing school I’ve been lucky enough to continue studying ceramics, including a residency at the Craft Council of Newfoundland, work-studies at Haystack Mountain in Maine and Arrowmont School in Tennessee. I currently share a studio with three ceramic artists and participate in workshops with the Nova Scotia Potters Guild.

I started Bread and Butter Pottery in 2010 and am delighted that so many people love my funny pottery. Working with clay is exciting, challenging and rewarding. Inspired by my life on Canada’s east coast, my work is cheeky and cheerful and is meant to be used daily.
