Yesterday, Engage Nova Scotia held their first “Stepping Up” conference, bringing together 11 host locations across the province through video streaming and breakout sessions. There was an undeniable energy that was generated by the 800 active participants from public, private, and government sectors, as well as 500 independent live streaming locations. The Twitter-verse felt the outpouring of support and opinion – the conference was the #1 trending topic in Canada with the hashtag #StepUpNS. CEED was there in person at three locations in Halifax, Sydney and East Hants, and virtually via live stream to add our entrepreneurship education and development support to this exciting groundswell.
